Warehouse Coordinator

Position Summary

CH Racking is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee our Dandenong warehouse operations. This role is critical in ensuring operational excellence through strict adherence to SOPs and process management. You will take full ownership of stock integrity, quality control, and the seamless flow of both new and recycled products to maintain our high service standards for Tier-1 clients.

Key Responsibilities

Process Management & SOP Compliance

Maintain a strong emphasis on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all warehouse functions.

Ensure all ERP data entries are accurate, timely, and reflect real-time stock movements.

Drive continuous improvement in warehouse workflows to enhance efficiency.

Inventory & Stock Ownership

Take full ownership of stock-in/stock-out processes, ensuring 100% accuracy in dispatch records.

Manage inventory replenishment to prevent stockouts and support sales targets.

Lead the "Delivery In Full, On Time" (DIFOT) metric to ensure customer satisfaction.

Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts; coordinate closely with the Accounts team regarding stock write-offs and adjustments.

Quality Control & Recycled Stock

Perform rigorous Quality Control (QC) inspections for both new and recycled stock.

Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of recycled stock, from sorting to re-entry into inventory.

Implement Lot Management protocols to ensure traceability of all racking components.

Daily Operations

Coordinate inbound shipments and oversee accurate putaway.

Supervise picking and packing activities to ensure compliance with dispatch schedules.

Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely.

Maintain a clean, organized, and OHS-compliant work environment.

Selection Criteria

Mandatory: current Forklift Licence.

Experience: Proven experience in logistics coordination or warehouse management.

Systems: Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel for data integrity).

Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Lot Management and inventory control principles.

Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail with a "process-first" attitude.

Physical Fitness: Capability to perform manual handling tasks safely.

Communication: Professional English communication skills; ability to liaise effectively between the warehouse and the accounts/office team.
