About the Role

As a Warehouse Material Handler and Crane Operator, you will play a vital role in optimizing inventory flow and ensuring the efficient movement of heavy materials. You will utilize your expertise in overhead crane operation and inventory management to support seamless distribution and warehouse organization.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes to safely load, unload, and distribute heavy steel products throughout the facility.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization by strategically organizing storage areas based on current production and shipping demands.
• Prepare materials for outbound shipment by verifying product locations and coordinating staging area movements.
• Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy by performing regular counts and reconciling logs against system reports.
• Ensure all distribution activities are documented accurately through detailed reporting and record-keeping.
• Uphold rigorous safety standards to foster a secure and efficient work environment for the entire team.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Proven experience operating overhead cranes in a heavy industrial or warehouse setting.
• Strong background in inventory control and warehouse organization practices.
