Warehouse / Delivery Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive incoming goods from customers and vendors, checking equipment, packaging and labels for any physical or external damage.
• Inspect all incoming goods to ensure they are received in acceptable condition and meet the required standards.
• Ensure proper handling and safe unloading of all incoming goods, including goods received in containers.
• Update all warehouse goods movements accurately in the NetSuite system using Bin Transfer.
• Maintain proper storage and organisation of goods within the warehouse, including designated areas for customer or forwarder self-collection.
• Ensure the internal warehouse is maintained in a clean, orderly and safe condition, with appropriate security of all stored goods.
• Conduct monthly periodic stock counts and report any discrepancies identified.
• Pick, pack, label and inspect goods to ensure they are complete, correctly prepared and in good condition before customer delivery or export.
• Verify all outgoing goods against the relevant documents to ensure accuracy prior to delivery or export.
• Ensure goods are properly handled, secured and loaded onto vehicles for delivery.
• Assist with daily delivery planning and coordinate transportation arrangements as required.
• Ensure the safety and security of all goods throughout delivery or collection activities.
• Check all delivered items with the recipient and obtain acknowledgement of the Delivery Order with the recipient Company stamp after verification.
• Carry out appropriate checks when collecting or receiving returned goods from customers or vendors, including inspection for damage to equipment, packaging and labels.
• Perform other warehouse, delivery or operational duties as assigned by the supervisor or superior.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Must hold a valid Class 3 or Class 4 Singapore Driving Licence.
• Able to handle warehouse goods safely and appropriately during receiving, storage, picking, packing, loading, unloading and delivery activities.
• Able to perform basic checking and verification of goods, labels, packaging and delivery documentation.
• Basic computer skills with the ability to update warehouse transactions in NetSuite.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum ITE or NTC Certificate in Business, Office Skills or a related discipline.
• At least five years of relevant working experience in warehouse, logistics, delivery or related operations is preferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates without prior working experience may also be considered, provided they meet the relevant requirements of the position.
• Physically able to perform warehouse, loading, unloading and delivery-related duties.
• Responsible, safety-conscious and able to handle Company goods with care and accountability.
• Willing to perform ad-hoc duties and operational tasks as assigned by superiors.
