Warehouse Distribution Supervisor (Dispatch Operation)

Our client is a leading food manufacturing and distribution company. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Distribution Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and distribution activities, including stock receiving, inventory reconciliation, dispatch preparation and team coordination. They are located in the West – easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Distribution Clerks in receiving, checking and verifying finished goods delivered from manufacturing facilities.
• Oversee the receiving, sorting, counting and documentation of returned goods from delivery operations.
• Verify Delivery Orders (D/O) against physical stock received and prepare accurate daily inventory reports for management review.
• Monitor stock levels of operational supplies, packaging materials, equipment and administrative documentation required for daily distribution activities.
• Ensure products scheduled for night-shift dispatch are accurately checked, prepared and staged before handover.
• Conduct structured shift handovers with the night-shift supervisor, highlighting outstanding activities, stock variances and operational matters.
• Plan and allocate manpower according to daily workload, delivery schedules and operational requirements.
• Supervise dispatch personnel and ensure work is performed according to established operational procedures.
• Monitor attendance, work performance, productivity and compliance with workplace safety requirements.
• Ensure warehouse and distribution activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant company procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE 'N' Level or Higher NITEC qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution or transportation operations.
• Prior experience supervising warehouse, dispatch or distribution operations is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for basic data entry, inventory tracking, calculations and reporting.
• Candidates with experience in stock receiving, inventory reconciliation, dispatch operations or team supervision are encouraged to apply.
