Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Retail Distribution Center Delivery Driver Lead to work on a contract basis. This role involves overseeing delivery operations, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of goods, and managing a team of drivers. The position requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of delivery drivers, assigning routes and monitoring performance metrics.

• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods.

• Verify delivery documentation and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

• Address driver concerns, resolve delivery discrepancies, and report issues to management.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver’s license with clean driving record.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in delivery operations or fleet management.

• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.

• Knowledge of local traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
