Warehouse Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This position involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring the efficient handling and transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating various types of vehicles and equipment, while also being able to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including delivery trick with lift gate, and forklift
• Perform loading and unloading tasks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding delivery schedules and inventory needs.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and inventory levels.
• Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols while driving and working in the warehouse.

Skills

• Proven experience operating commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, limousines, flatbeds, dump trucks, tankers, and shuttle driving.
• Proficiency in using warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and inventory management.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
