Job Title: Driver/Warehouse Person

Job Summary:

The Driver/Warehouse person is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of Cinelease lighting, grip, and production equipment to and from studios, locations, and production facilities. This role supports film, television, and commercial productions by ensuring equipment is delivered, handled, and returned in accordance with company safety standards and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and box trucks, to transport Cinelease equipment
• Load and unload lighting, grip, and production equipment, ensuring proper securement and protection of all cargo
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report maintenance or safety issues promptly
• Deliver and pick up equipment on time while adhering to production call times and schedules
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, logs, and DOT compliance documentation
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, warehouse staff, and production personnel on locations
• Assist warehouse personnel with staging, inventory checks, and equipment organization as needed
• Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and on-set safety protocols
• Represent Cinelease professionally when interacting with clients, crew, and production staff
• Keep vehicles clean and presentable at all times

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Clean driving record; ability to meet insurance and DOT requirements
• Experience driving tractor-trailers and/or large commercial vehicles
• Knowledge of safe loading, rigging, and cargo securement practices
• Familiarity with film and television production environments preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (often 50+ lbs)
• Strong time-management and communication skills
• Flexible schedule with availability for early mornings, late nights, weekends, and overtime

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience with Cinelease or other entertainment industry rental houses
• Knowledge of lighting, grip, and electrical equipment
• Experience working on film or television sets

Work Environment

• Combination of warehouse, studio, and on-location work
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Fast-paced production schedules with changing priorities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
