About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Warehouse Encoder to join the warehousing and distribution team at HON-KWANG ELECTRIC (PHILIPPINES) INC. This is a full-time position based at our facility in Laguna Technopark, Binan City, Laguna. As a Warehouse Encoder, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse operations. Your meticulous data entry and organisational skills will directly impact our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately encode and input warehouse data, inventory records, and product information into warehouse management systems and databases
• Verify product codes, descriptions, quantities, and other relevant details against documentation and physical inventory
• Process incoming and outgoing shipment information, ensuring all data is correctly recorded in real-time
• Maintain organised and legible warehouse records, logs, and documentation
• Perform regular data quality checks to identify and correct discrepancies or errors in warehouse records
• Generate and maintain inventory reports and perform stock reconciliations as required
• Communicate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to clarify data requirements and resolve data-related issues
• Assist with inventory count activities and contribute to physical stock verification exercises
• Ensure compliance with company data entry standards and procedures
• Support the warehouse team with additional administrative duties as needed to maintain operational efficiency

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Encoder, data entry clerk, or in a similar administrative warehouse role
• Proficiency in data entry with the ability to type accurately and quickly with minimal errors
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy whilst working under time pressure
• Solid understanding of warehousing operations, inventory management principles, and logistics processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data manipulation and reporting
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with warehouse team members
• Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to maintaining high standards of work
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving
• Basic mathematical skills for verification of quantities and calculations
