Warehouse Executive

About the role

We are looking for a responsible, hands-on and detail-oriented Warehouse Executive to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of approximately 10 warehouse operators and ensuring that all warehouse activities are carried out efficiently, accurately and safely. This includes the receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of electrical components, cables and industrial materials to customers and the production line. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment, is comfortable managing people and warehouse activities on the floor, and has a strong focus on inventory accuracy, productivity, housekeeping and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of approximately 10 warehouse operators
• Plan and assign daily tasks according to operational requirements and priorities
• Monitor attendance, work performance, productivity and completion of assigned tasks
• Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing, loading and unloading of materials
• Ensure incoming goods are properly checked against delivery documents, purchase orders and system records
• Maintain high accuracy between physical stock and system inventory records
• Conduct regular cycle counts, stock checks and periodic stock takes
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment at all times
• Ensure warehouse operators follow established safety procedures and work instructions
• Review and improve warehouse layout, storage locations and material flow to maximize available space

About you

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in warehouse supervision, warehouse operations or logistics
• Experience in supervising a warehouse team is preferred
• Experience handling electrical components, electronic parts, cables, hardware, industrial materials or similar products will be an added advantage
• Basic knowledge and practical experience in inventory control and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Experience with systems such as SAP, SQL or other inventory/ERP systems will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both written and spoken
• Strong and responsible team leader who can effectively manage warehouse personnel
• Hands-on and comfortable working on the warehouse floor
• Highly organized and attentive to detail, especially when handling inventory
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities
