Warehouse Forklift Operator

Job Summary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and organize materials, products, and equipment within the company premises. The position ensures proper handling and storage of materials while following company safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in accordance with company safety rules and procedures.
• Load, unload, transfer, and transport raw materials, finished products, molds, equipment, and other items.
• Properly arrange and stack materials in designated storage areas.
• Check the condition of the forklift before and after operation and report any defects or abnormalities.
• Ensure that materials are properly secured and handled to prevent damage or accidents.
• Assist in receiving and releasing materials and products as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the assigned work area.
• Follow proper traffic and safety rules within the warehouse and production areas.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, and other departments regarding material movement.
• Maintain accurate records or documentation related to material transfers and forklift operations, when required.
• Immediately report accidents, damages, unsafe conditions, or equipment problems to the immediate supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate, Senior High School Graduate, or Vocational Graduate.
• With valid Forklift Operator Certification/License, if required by company policy or applicable regulations.
• With at least 1 year of relevant experience as a Forklift Operator is preferred.
• Knowledgeable in proper forklift operation, material handling, and workplace safety.
• Physically fit and capable of performing material-handling activities.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, overtime, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

• Work may be performed in warehouse, production, loading/unloading, and outdoor areas.
• May be exposed to noise, dust, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
• Requires prolonged standing, walking, and operating a forklift.
• Must consistently observe workplace safety requirements and use appropriate PPE.
