Warehouse In-charge

Key Responsibilities1. Temperature & Cold Chain Integrity

• Monitor chiller, blast freezer, and cold room logs (target ranges: chill +2°C to +8°C, frozen -18°C to -25°C).
• Log automated/manual temperature checks every 2–4 hours.
• Trigger emergency escalation, generator backup, or transfer protocols immediately upon temperature deviation.
• Inspect incoming vehicle dock seals and product core temperatures prior to unloading.

2. Inbound, Storage & Outbound Operations

• Verify seal integrity, manifest quantities, and quality/expiry dates upon receipt.
• Enforce rapid transfer of perishables from dock to cold/freezer zone to avoid thermal shock.
• Direct put-away, high-density racking, and zone segregation (allergen, halal, pharma GDP compliance if applicable).
• Oversee staging, shrink-wrapping, and outbound loading with minimal ambient exposure time.

3. Inventory Control & WMS

• Maintain real-time stock visibility using WMS (e.g., SAP EWM, Manhattan, or local WMS).
• Execute daily cycle counts and monthly physical inventory reconciliations.
• Manage FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) strictly. [1, 2, 3]

4. Safety, PPE & Compliance

• Enforce mandatory PPE use: thermal suits (-20°C rated), insulated gloves, anti-slip safety boots.
• Limit continuous worker exposure shifts inside sub-zero freezers per local labor safety guidelines.
• Maintain HACCP, ISO 22000, or local municipality food safety/hygiene compliance records.

5. Team Leadership

• Schedule shift rosters, break rotations for cold-room staff, and daily huddles.
• Train pickers/handlers on gentle stacking, door-open time reduction, and spill/slip response.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years in warehouse operations with min. 2 years specific to cold chain / frozen logistics.
• Education: Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations.
• Technical Skills: WMS/ERP proficiency, handheld barcode/RF gun usage.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
