Warehouse Janitor/Custodian

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Warehouse Janitor/Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment within our facility. This position is mainly responsible for keeping the warehouse floor clean and to empty all trash containers in the warehouse. This is a mid shift job and the hours are from 11am to 3pm Monday through Friday. This position pays $12 hour paid weekly. You must be able to pass drug test and background check. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to adhering to safety protocols while performing cleaning and custodial duties. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of warehouse floors using floor buffers, sweepers, mops, and other cleaning equipment to ensure a spotless environment.
• Conduct routine custodial tasks including KEEPING WAREHOUSE FLOOR CLEAN, PULLING ALL TRASH IN WAREHOUSE.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, and general upkeep to support the overall functionality of the warehouse.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs for replenishment or repairs promptly.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all custodial activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper chemical handling safety procedures.
• Experience operating floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach when interacting with team members or visitors.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
