Warehouse Lead

1. JOB PURPOSE

To implement the plan for packing and dispatch of carbon black in each shift, adhering to laid out systems and procedures to ensure safe delivery to customers and also responsible for day-by-day activities related to packing and dispatch inclusive of all resources like packing material, manpower and relevant items. Ensure all warehouse employees follow the quality system so that delivery targets are achieved with 100% compliance with zero customer complaints while maintaining world class housekeeping

2. JOB CONTEXT

To contact and coordinate with process, QC and marketing to enable to deliver quality material to customers within time with no complaint. Delivery compliance and customer complaints are two major KPI of the unit. The major challenge is the expectations of the customers regarding the delivery time which is time specific and high standard of quality regarding product, packaging, logistics, documentation, information and over all service. Another challenge is to maintain high standard of housekeeping to implement company's policy on environment which becomes very challenging considering the fact that packing is an open process and carbon black is fluffy and black in color product

Key Result Areas

• Delivery compliance - Coordinate with process, QC an marketing to ensure right inventory, right quality at right time
• Customer complaint - Coordinate with packing and dispatch team to follow all standards of quality, to train and retrain them on SOPs. In case of complaint implement corrective actions
• Housekeeping - To give message of management expectation on housekeeping, take rounds, take improvement targets each day, define ownership
• Improve quality of packaging material - Inspection of incoming material and auditof supplier
• Skill development- Training and recertification
• SAP transaction and customer requirement - Ensure all SAP transaction are correct and implement and incorporate new customer requirement in system
• Health Occupation and Safety and Improvement Project - Comply to the Corporate and Company s Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and requirements Overall improvement projects

7. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification or recognized certification is advantageous.

Experience

Typically 10+ years in outbound logistics and warehousing, including leadership responsibility in manufacturing. Experience establishing or stabilizing ASRS, warehouse automation or automated dispatch is strongly preferred.

Industry exposure

Carbon black, chemicals, tyres, automotive, FMCG, paints, bulk materials or process-manufacturing sectors with strong EHS and inventory controls.

Functional expertise

Finished-goods warehousing; ASRS; SAP/WMS; automated dispatch; inventory control; transport and 3PL management; dispatch operations; logistics costing and KPI governance.

Leadership capabilities

Ownership, execution discipline, customer focus, cross-functional influence, team building, contractor management, commercial awareness and structured problem solving.

Language and mobility

Strong business English. Thai capability is advantageous. Willingness to be based at the Rayong plant and travel as required.
