Warehouse Lead

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for moving, storing, covering, and preparing props and furniture for warehouse storage or into bins for delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Learns inventory and pull sheets to successfully fill event orders.
• Prepares props and furniture for events to include but not limited to: wrapping fabric and vinyl, drilling holes, nailing, hammering, hand and spray painting, polishing, cleaning and staining.
• Wraps furniture and props for delivery; unwraps inventory as needed.
• Cleans and sweeps work space to ensure workspace is organized, safe and free from obstacles and debris.
• Warehouse Assistant levels 2 and 3 perform increasingly more complex and detailed prop and warehouse work and require less supervision.
• Tracks and enters time and assigns hours and tasks to appropriate events and jobs in time and attendance system.
• Completes all Human Resources and Payroll tasks and notifications through the Employee Self Service Online Portal on a weekly basis, as directed and within established timelines.
• Complies with all department and company safety guidelines, procedures, and rules.
• Completes all safety training as directed and within established timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to understand, read and speak simple English.
• Good verbal communication skills to communicate successfully with the Warehouse team.
• Ability to interpret pull sheets.
• Familiarity with proper packing methods is helpful.
• Must be able to provide the following tools for use during the work shift: wire cutter and utility knife.
• Good knowledge and ability to use tools and equipment that may include: hammer, screwdriver, hand drill, tape measure, dollies, and 8 foot and 12 foot ladders.
• Ability to work flexible schedules to include evenings and weekends.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Events management: 2 years (Preferred)
