JOB DESCRIPTION

Central Paper Company is seeking a dependable, flexible full-time team member for our Nashua warehouse.

This position combines early-morning warehouse work, local van deliveries, and backup route-driver coverage. The ideal candidate can move comfortably between warehouse and driving responsibilities and step in where needed to keep daily operations running smoothly.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Break down incoming stock/skids each morning and organize product for warehouse and delivery operations.
• Assist with morning truck loading and general warehouse support.
• Make local deliveries and special-order runs using a company Ford E-350 cutaway van.
• Load and unload product safely and accurately at the warehouse and customer locations.
• Serve as a backup/fill-in route driver when regular drivers are absent, on vacation, or additional coverage is needed.
• Complete delivery paperwork, communicate professionally with customers, and follow company safety/DOT requirements.
• Perform routine pre-trip/post-trip checks and assist with other warehouse and delivery duties as needed.

SCHEDULE & FLEXIBILITY

Normal schedule is Monday–Friday, approximately 4:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Fill-in route coverage may occasionally require an adjusted or extended workday. Overtime may be available when additional coverage is needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid driver's license with a safe and acceptable driving record.
• CDL Class B preferred, but not required for the primary position.
• Reliable and able to consistently report for a 4:00 AM start.
• Comfortable driving a commercial-style van and learning delivery routes.
• Able to lift and move products weighing up to approximately 75 lbs.
• Comfortable with frequent walking, lifting, loading, and unloading.
• Able to work independently and adapt to changing daily priorities.
• Previous warehouse, delivery, route-driving, or commercial-driving experience preferred.
