Warehouse Specialist - Ice Cream Factory

As a Warehouse Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of inventory throughout our warehouse and distribution operations. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and ready to contribute to a fast-moving environment.

Schedule & Compensation:

· Schedule: Monday - Friday

· Shift Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM (may vary), 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

· Job Type: Full-Time

· Compensation: Starting $18.00 per hour

· Expected Hours: 8-hour shifts, up to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

· Load and unload shipments from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.

· Inspect products for damage or defects and report issues to management.

· Collaborate with other warehouse staff to maintain smooth operations .

· Organize and store goods in designated areas, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure packaging.

· Use manual or mechanical equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts to move heavy items safely.

· Maintain a clean and safe workspace, including clearing debris and organizing loading docks.

· Follow all safety, food safety, and operational protocols.

Qualifications:

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

· Positive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.

· Prior warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required.

· Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)

· Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and warehouse management software.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

· Work in freezer environments (down to -20°F), and hot production areas.

· PPE in required areas: hairnet, gloves, lab coat, safety shoes, and other food-safety gear.

· Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks regularly.

· Perform repetitive physical movements (including but not limited to bending, squatting, twisting, and lifting) as part of daily warehouse operations.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
