Warehouse Manager (Beverages Distribution)

Duties

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure smooth operations.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team through effective team management, managerial communication, and team leadership strategies.
• Oversee inventory control using warehouse management systems (WMS), and RF scanners to maintain accurate stock levels and data integrity.
• Operate and oversee the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and other mechanical knowledge tools while adhering to OSHA safety, and DOT compliance standards.
• Monitor shipping & receiving activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards for heavy lifting and materials handling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse management or warehouse supervisor roles with strong knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution center processes.
• Hands-on experience with inventory management systems, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with excellent managerial communication skills and team leadership capabilities.
• Proficiency in using forklift trucks, RF scanners, and other materials handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding of logistics principles, OSHA safety regulations, and DOT compliance.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment.
