What they need
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatching of materials and finished goods.
- Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability of materials.
- Ensure proper receiving, inspection, labeling, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical inventory counts.
- Monitor warehouse transactions and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper arrangement and identification of materials for easy retrieval and efficient space utilization.
- Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including work assignments, attendance, performance, and discipline.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Planning, Quality, and other departments regarding material requirements and movement.
- Ensure timely delivery and issuance of materials to production and other departments.
- Implement proper FIFO/FEFO and inventory control practices, as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety, housekeeping, and security procedures.
- Monitor damaged, excess, obsolete, and rejected materials and coordinate proper disposition.
- Prepare and submit warehouse and inventory reports to management.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
