Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfilment, and dispatch with E-Commerce and B2B operations. This role ensures operational efficiency, accuracy, safety, and compliance while leading a team to meet productivity and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, storage and dispatch
• Plan and control manpower allocation, warehouse space and material-handling equipment
• Lead, supervise and motivate warehouse staff; assign daily tasks, monitor performance and support staff development
• Ensure compliance with warehouse SOPs, safety, hygiene and security standards, including housekeeping
• Co-ordinate inbound schedules, container loading/unloading and ensure timely receiving and dispatch processes
• Maintain accurate inventory records; ensure timely system updates in SAP/WMS
• Conduct periodic cycle counts, annual stock take and investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Monitor and analyse warehouse KPIs such as delivery timelines, inventory accuracy, inventory integrity, productivity and documentation compliance
• Prepare regular operational reports (e.g. IN/OUT status, dead stock, inventory health) for management review
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents and inventory loss

About you

• Diploma or above in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field
• Minimum 8-10 years of warehouse supervisory/management experience
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control and best practices
• Hands-on experience with SAP and WMS; experience in WMS implementation or system migration is an advantage
• Proven ability to implement process improvements and optimize workflows
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing, coaching and developing teams
• Good decision-making, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to handle operational challenges
• Knowledge of safety, hygiene and security standards in warehouse operations
• Ability to analyse operational data and generate insights to improve warehouse performance
