JOB PURPOSE

To manage warehouse operations, inventory, personnel, and stock movement efficiently while ensuring accurate records, proper storage, security, and timely availability of goods.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee daily warehouse operations and activities. Supervise warehouse staff and allocate duties. Manage receiving, storage, picking, issuing, and dispatch of goods. Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with records. Monitor stock levels, shortages, excesses, damages, and losses. Ensure proper organization, labeling, handling, and storage of goods. Coordinate with procurement, sales, finance, and operations teams. Prepare inventory and warehouse reports. Enforce warehouse safety, security, and operational procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum HND/Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. Proven warehouse management experience is required. Experience in trading, manufacturing, FMCG, or a related environment is an advantage. Strong inventory management and numerical skills. Ability to supervise and coordinate warehouse personnel. Good knowledge of stock control and reconciliation. Computer literacy; Excel/inventory management software experience is an advantage. Strong organization, accountability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
