Warehouse Manager

Summary:

Based at the LOCK5 main warehouse this role is responsible for the production and sending of kit and consumables to site. The role requires warehouse experience to control the existing stored project kit and a methodical approach to ensuring loads in and out of the warehouse are completed in a timely manner.

Together with the existing stock, the role is responsible for managing a small team in the manufacture of new kit from various materials in our workshop. This requires a knowledge of woodwork, metalwork and painting and working with other materials

Role:

· The Warehouse Manager works in conjunction with Project Managers for the production and maintenance of kit for projects across the main yard and satellite storage unit

· Managing the production team and contracted workers maintaining and producing materials and kit for projects

· Collating pick lists for products including consumables and kit required for projects

· Maintaining an accurate level of stock and materials in the warehouse and workshop

· Responsible for servicing and maintenance of tools and machinery in the warehaouse

· Ensuring Health and Safety protocols are observed in the warehouse and the warehouse in kept in a tidy condition

· Liaise with the Soft Production Supervisor to ensure soft pick lists are completed and stock is kept tidily and counted

Requirements:

· Supervising teams

· Warehouse experience

· Planning picking and maintenance schedules

· Stock management systems

· Application of safe working systems

· Maintenance of equipment

· Forklift and material handling experience

· Driving Licence

Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
