Warehouse Manager

• Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatching of products
• Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling and performance management
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy
• Implement and monitor warehouse safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Optimize warehouse layouts and processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Manage warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and other machinery, ensuring proper maintenance and safety
• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, warehouse productivity and employee safety metrics
• Prepare and maintain warehouse documentation and reports for senior management
• Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet standard requirements before dispatch

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or similar supervisory roles within retail or consumer products sectors
• Proven track record of successfully managing warehouse teams and achieving operational targets
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• In-depth understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis capabilities
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Experience with logistics and supply chain coordination
• Certification in warehouse management, OSHA or equivalent safety training is advantageous
• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties and willingness to work in variable temperature conditions
