Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Manager will oversee and control all warehouse and transportation operations, from receiving raw materials (such as aluminium rolls and liners), storage, and dispatch, to managing finished product inventory (aluminium caps) and planning and controlling product delivery to customers accurately, completely, and on time. The role focuses on maximizing efficiency, controlling costs, and maintaining strict safety and product quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and control the processes of receiving, storing, and dispatching raw materials and finished goods according to system standards and efficiency
• Manage warehouse space for maximum utilization (Space Optimization)
• Maintain appropriate storage conditions to prevent damage such as scratches, collapse, or quality deterioration
• Lead and control compliance with 5S regulations and FIFO (First-In, First-Out) / FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) principles in daily operations
• Control the use and maintenance of warehouse equipment such as forklifts to ensure they are in working order and safe
• Plan and control stock count inspections, including Cycle Count and Year-End Count, to ensure 100% accuracy of system data
• Analyze inventory data to manage optimum stock levels, slow-moving items, and aging stock
• Work with ERP / WMS systems to record, verify, and control inventory movement
• Prepare inventory reports and propose improvement recommendations to management
• Manage, train, and develop the warehouse and transportation team
• Set, monitor, and evaluate work performance indicators (KPIs) at department and individual levels
• Promote and oversee strict compliance with workplace safety regulations
• Foster a culture focused on continuous improvement and development
• Coordinate closely with production planning, sales, and quality control departments for smooth operations
• Analyze specific problems in work processes and develop systematic solutions
• Prepare reports on operational results, obstacles, and departmental improvement plans for regular submission to management

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 7-10 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations in industrial manufacturing
• 3-5 years of experience at management or supervisory level (will be considered specially)
• Experience in packaging, automotive parts, or FMCG industries with fast-paced management systems (will be considered specially)
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management principles, stock control, and transportation planning
• Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle) and WMS (Warehouse Management System)
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong ability to analyze data and prepare reports using Microsoft Excel
• English language communication ability (will be considered specially)
• High responsibility, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and handle urgent situations well, positive attitude, and willingness to learn new things
