Warehouse Manager

Apollo Distributing Company, a family-owned flooring distributor in Fairfield, NJ, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team.

Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse employees to maintain productivity, accuracy, and safety
• Oversee receiving, stocking, picking, staging, and shipping
• Make sure customer orders are completed accurately and on time
• Maintain inventory organization and accuracy, including cycle counts
• Ensure warehouse safety and compliance with company and OSHA standards
• Monitor warehouse equipment, report maintenance needs and schedule repair appointments as needed.
• Work with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Transportation as needed

Requirements:

• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Previous warehouse supervisory, leadership, or team lead experience
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, stock/order pickers, and pallet wrapping equipment
• Ability to safely lift and move flooring products and materials

Preferred:

• Experience with flooring, building materials, wholesale distribution, or a related industry
• OSHA forklift/pallet jack certification
• Experience with inventory control, shipping, and receiving
