Experienced Warehouse Manager? Ready to take charge and get stuck in?

We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our busy freight and haulage operation in Kilrane, Co. Wexford .

This is a hands-on management role where you’ll lead a small team of four while working alongside them on the warehouse floor. You’ll be responsible for keeping the operation moving, making sure goods are handled efficiently and ensuring the team gets the job done safely and on time.

What you'll be doing

• Managing and leading a team of 4 warehouse operatives
• Overseeing the daily warehouse operation
• Offloading goods from incoming trucks
• Re-loading goods onto other trucks and storage containers
• Organising workloads and keeping the warehouse running efficiently
• Working directly alongside the team — this is a hands-on role
• Ensuring goods are handled safely and correctly
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety and organisation
• Working closely with drivers and the wider transport operation
• Dealing with day-to-day issues and keeping things moving

What we're looking for

We need someone who knows warehouses inside out and is comfortable taking responsibility.

You'll need:

• Minimum 6 years' warehouse experience
• Previous warehouse supervisory or management experience
• Experience in freight, logistics or haulage is highly desirable
• Strong people and relationship-management skills
• The ability to lead, organise and motivate a small team
• A practical, hands-on attitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• A strong understanding of warehouse safety and procedures
• The ability to work in a busy, fast-moving environment

The hours

Monday to Friday + frequent Saturdays

We offer flexibility around your start time, with the working day able to start between 6am and 9am . Prefer to start early and finish early? That's absolutely fine.

Important

This is a fully on-site role in Kilrane, Co. Wexford.

Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Kilrane.
