What they need
Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Company: Al Khaleej Polymers Rubber And Plastic Industries LLC
Location: Al Ghayl Industrial Area, Ras Al Khaimah
Job Type: Full-time, on-site
We're Hiring: Warehouse Manager
Al Khaleej Polymers is a growing rubber and plastics manufacturer in Ras Al Khaimah. As our operations grow, we're looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of our stores and warehouse function and take it to the next level.
This role is for someone who builds as well as runs. You'll own day-to-day operations on the floor, and you'll also strengthen and standardise the systems, procedures and controls that support our raw material, consumables and finished goods storage as we scale.
What You'll Own
Systems, Procedures & Standardisation
- Take ownership of warehouse procedures and refine, standardise and document them across receiving, put-away, storage, picking, issuing to production, dispatch, returns and scrap/non-conforming material.
- Strengthen the documentation flow (GRN, material issue notes, transfer notes, delivery notes) so it stays fully aligned with procurement, production and accounts.
- Maintain and improve item master data, bin/location coding and labelling standards.
- Lead the further digitisation of warehouse processes, including ERP inventory and WMS capabilities.
- Track warehouse performance KPIs and report on them every month.
Run the Floor
- Run day-to-day inbound and outbound operations and lead the warehouse team (11–20 staff).
- Enforce FIFO/FEFO, stock rotation and correct storage of raw materials and finished goods.
- Run cycle counts and full physical stock-takes, investigate variances to root cause, and close them out.
- Keep stock records accurate in real time and control damage, losses and obsolete stock.
- Plan dispatch and delivery schedules with sales, production and logistics.
Optimise & Plan Ahead
- Improve layout, racking and slotting to make better use of space and speed up material flow.
- Set min/max levels, reorder points and replenishment logic with procurement and production planning.
- Plan capacity for seasonal demand peaks and future growth.
- Recommend warehouse upgrades, equipment and infrastructure to support expansion.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safe material handling, racking safety, forklift operation, PPE and housekeeping standards.
- Carry out regular safety audits (racks, exits, fire points, MHE) and make sure findings are fixed.
- Keep forklift and MHE preventive maintenance on schedule and keep operator certifications valid.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- 6–10 years of warehouse/stores experience, including at least 3 years leading a warehouse in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- A proven record of developing, standardising and implementing warehouse SOPs and inventory controls, and making them stick on the floor.
- Hands-on experience with ERP inventory modules or WMS implementation or enhancement.
- Strong command of inventory control: cycle counting, variance analysis, ABC classification, FIFO/FEFO, min/max planning.
- Knowledge of warehouse layout design, racking systems and space optimisation.
- Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, stock reconciliation and reporting).
- A floor-level leader who trains, sets standards and holds the team to them.
- Working knowledge of warehouse HSE and safe MHE operation.
Preferred
- Experience in rubber, plastics, polymers, chemicals or similar process manufacturing.
- CILT, CSCP (APICS/ASCM) or an equivalent logistics/supply chain certification.
Languages
- English and Hindi/Urdu (fluent) are required.
- Arabic is an advantage.
Why Join Us
- Full ownership of a key function in a growing manufacturing business.
- Room to shape how the warehouse scales with the company.
- Direct impact on production, supply chain and cost control.
- Visibility with senior leadership.
- Competitive package based on experience.
