Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead our client's warehouse operations in Karratha.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys being hands-on, leading a team, improving processes and ensuring the warehouse operates safely, efficiently and accurately.

You will take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory management, purchasing, freight coordination and team performance, while driving continuous improvement across systems and processes.

About the Role

Reporting to the relevant management team, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the warehouse, including:

• Leading, supporting and developing the warehouse team
• Managing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking and dispatch
• Maintaining accurate inventory and stock control
• Improving warehouse systems, workflows and processes to drive efficiency
• Coordinating freight movements and ensuring accurate and timely order processing
• Preparing and managing relevant documentation, including ROSAs, Dangerous Goods documentation, sales orders, delivery dockets and consignment notes
• Overseeing purchasing, supplier relationships, contracts and sourcing strategies
• Scheduling and coordinating preventative maintenance for warehouse equipment and facilities
• Supporting customers with enquiries, retail sales and quality-related issues as required
• Conducting regular audits, inspections and safety meetings
• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and safe work practices
• Operating forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as required

About You

You are an experienced warehouse professional who can confidently take ownership of operations while leading a team and maintaining high standards.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or warehouse management role
• Demonstrated experience in receiving, inventory control and dispatch processes
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow and implement procedures
• A customer-focused approach and professional manner
• Experience using SAP is desirable
• A valid Forklift Licence (essential)
• Chain of Responsibility (CoR) certification is desirable
• A willingness to learn, develop and take on new responsibilities
• A hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident currently residing in Karratha
• Valid Forklift Licence
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and police check

What’s on Offer

• Annual salary:$110,000 – $125,000
