Warehouse Manager

About Us: Bernick’s is a 5th generation family-owned provider of beverages, vending and food solutions, representing leading brands such as Pepsi, Dr Pepper, Miller Brewing Company and New England Coffee. We service locations in greater MN and western WI.

Job Summary: The Warehouse Manager leads all aspects of warehouse operations including inventory management, receiving, replenishment, order fulfillment, storage, shipping, facility standards, and team member development. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate warehouse execution while supporting service excellence across all business divisions.

The Warehouse Manager develops and leads high-performing teams, drives operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, and partners closely with Sales, Distribution, Inventory, Finance, and Operations leadership to ensure inventory availability, customer satisfaction, and cost-effective execution.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all warehouse functions including receiving, storage, replenishment, inventory control, order selection, loading, and returns processing.

• Establish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.

• Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts and audits

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, company policies, and food and beverage handling requirements.

• Maintain the facility and surrounding grounds to meet company standards for security, cleanliness, appearance, health and safety.

• Lead initiatives that improve warehouse productivity, efficiency, inventory accuracy, and service performance.

• Maximize utilization of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP platforms, Voice Pick technology, handheld devices, and reporting tools.

• Ensure warehouse operations consistently support service levels and delivery expectations.

• Prepare, manage and maintain annual operating, facility maintenance, and capital expenditure budgets while supporting the annual business planning process.

• Travel to other company locations may be necessary.

• Associate's Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or operations management.

• Previous food, beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or distribution industry experience.

• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, and movement throughout warehouse facilities.

• Travel may be required as part of this role to support various Bernick’s locations, events, or business needs. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be conducted as part of the hiring process and evaluated in relation to the requirements of the role.

• Team members in this position may be required to handle, move, and work with a variety of products, including alcoholic beverages, nicotine products, pork products, and other regulated consumer goods.

Base Compensation:

$95k- $115k

Potential Other Compensation (based on position eligibility):

Various bonuses, commissions, incentive pay, mileage reimbursement, etc.
