WAREHOUSE MANAGER

The Warehouse Manager will oversee the overall warehouse operations of the garments business. The role focuses on maintaining proper warehouse organization, ensuring accurate inventory management, supervising warehouse staff, and implementing efficient procedures to support smooth daily operations and proper handling of garments and materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and manage the overall daily warehouse operations.
• Ensure proper storage, organization, and handling of garments, fabrics, accessories, and other materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking of garment styles, sizes, colors, SKUs, and quantities.
• Conduct regular stock checks and ensure accurate inventory records and reports.
• Supervise, train, and guide warehouse staff to ensure tasks are completed properly and on time.
• Assign workloads and monitor staff productivity and performance.
• Oversee the receiving, inspection, storage, transfer, and release of goods.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, fulfillment, logistics, and other internal teams regarding inventory and warehouse concerns.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, missing items, damaged goods, and inventory issues.
• Implement and maintain warehouse procedures, inventory controls, and operational standards.
• Monitor warehouse efficiency and identify opportunities to improve processes and productivity.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and proper use of storage space and equipment.
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and provide regular operational updates to management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the garments, apparel, or textile industry.
• Proven experience overseeing warehouse operations and supervising warehouse personnel.
• Knowledge of garment inventory management, stock control, storage procedures, and warehouse organization.
• Experience handling inventory records, stock reconciliation, and warehouse documentation.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage warehouse personnel, prioritize tasks, and ensure operational efficiency.
• Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Willing to be hands-on in supervising and managing daily warehouse operations.
