What they need
Falk&Ross is one of the leading textile wholesalers for promotional, merchandising, and workwear products in Europe. Our mission is to deliver quality, service, and reliability so that our partners can showcase their brands perfectly.
With a strong international network, modern logistics, and a dedicated team, we are shaping the future of the textile industry. We are now looking for you to help drive our growth in field sales even further.
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead and continuously improve operations within our high-volume, semi-automated warehouse in Sembach.
Your mission
This is, above all, a people leadership role. While warehouse expertise and operational knowledge are important, your success will be defined by your ability to develop strong teams, empower Shift Leaders and create a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
You will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service, driving productivity and ensuring consistently high operational performance across all shifts.
Key responsibilities
· Lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient performance across all shifts while consistently meeting customer service commitments and maintaining high operational standards.
· Develop and empower Shift Leaders, strengthening their leadership capabilities, encouraging delegation and building accountability throughout the warehouse team.
· Create a culture of ownership and action, where employees take initiative, solve problems independently and make timely decisions without unnecessary bureaucracy or escalation.
· Drive continuous productivity improvements, optimising workforce utilisation, identifying inefficiencies, challenging existing processes and delivering measurable operational results.
· Plan and adapt staffing levels to meet operational requirements and seasonal demand fluctuations, ensuring efficient use of resources without compromising service or quality.
· Maintain operational discipline, responding quickly and effectively to operational challenges, bottlenecks and performance issues.
· Build and sustain a high-performance culture, promoting exceptional service standards, accountability, proactive problem-solving and a strong focus on execution.
· Engage and motivate warehouse employees through visible, approachable and hands-on leadership, maintaining an active presence on the warehouse floor.
· Oversee operations in a semi-automated environment, ensuring effective material flow and the smooth functioning of conveyor systems and Mini-Load storage and retrieval processes.
Your Profile
· 5+ years of experience leading a high-volume warehouse operation, with responsibility for a team of at least 50 employees.
· Strong people management and leadership skills, with the ability to develop Shift Leaders, delegate effectively and build high-performing teams.
· A hands-on, approachable leadership style, with a strong operational presence and the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels.
· A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the confidence to make decisions, take ownership and drive action.
· A proven ability to improve operational efficiency, workforce productivity and performance while maintaining excellent service and quality standards.
· Experience fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and employee empowerment.
· A sound understanding of semi-automated warehouse operations, including automated warehouse concepts, conveyor and material flow processes, and Mini-Load storage and retrieval systems.
· Fluent German and English (mandatory requirement).
What We Offer
· A competitive salary package.
· The opportunity to take ownership of a significant warehouse operation and make a tangible impact on its performance.
· The chance to develop and strengthen your leadership team while shaping a positive, high-performance working culture.
· Opportunities for professional growth and increasing responsibility as the business continues to develop and expand.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, fully on-site position based in Sembach, Germany, requiring an active and visible leadership presence within the warehouse operation.
