Warehouse Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, honest and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations. In this role, you will oversee the daily functions of the distribution center, ensuring seamless logistics, inventory control, and team management. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize warehouse workflows, and uphold safety standards to support our company’s growth and operational excellence. This is a small business environment; the warehouse manager role is critical to the business and carries a lot of autonomy. The warehouse manager must get along well with a variety of people and represent the company professionally and politely during customer interactions.

Duties

• Develop and support warehouse staff, fostering a motivated team focused on efficiency and safety.
• Oversee warehouse distribution activities, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
• Enter received product into software, print orders for picking, and update order statuses - basic computer competency required.
• Manage inventory control and cycle counting.
• Coordinate logistics operations involving third-party logistics providers and e-commerce fulfillment channels.
• Operate or oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts while ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards.
• Maintain detailed records of warehouse activities, including shipping & receiving logs, inventory levels, and safety reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations with a strong background in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with previous warehouse supervisor or manager experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and communication purposes.
• Ability to operate or supervise the operation of forklifts, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety practices.
• Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and coordinate across departments.
• Experience with distribution center operations, heavy lifting, shipping & receiving processes, and materials handling techniques.

Pay: $57,800.00 - $64,200.00 per year
