Warehouse Manager

About the role

Lead the end-to-end import and export Customs Clearance process, ensuring strict adherence to Australian and international trade regulations. Manage high-volume SAC (Simplified Declaration) E-commerce parcel clearance, maintaining full compliance and operational efficiency. Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, including Australian Border Force (ABF) and AQIS, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. Oversee site operations to ensure SLA compliance and exceptional customer experience, while driving efficiency and cost optimisation through data-driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end import and export Customs Clearance process, ensuring strict adherence to Australian and international trade regulations
• Manage the high-volume SAC (Simplified Declaration) E-commerce parcel clearance, maintaining full compliance and operational efficiency
• Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, including Australian Border Force (ABF) and AQIS, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
• Resolve complex customs issues such as holds, inspections, queries, and disputes to minimize delays
• Stay updated on evolving customs regulations, trade agreements, and tariff changes, implementing necessary process adjustments
• Coordinate effectively with shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, CTO, and CFS to manage timely freight transport
• Lead and develop high-performing warehouse and operations teams
• Drive efficiency and cost optimisation through data-driven decision making
• Coach, train, and develop future leaders within the team
• Manage logistics resources and workflow to meet evolving customer needs

About you

• Proven operations management experience in 3PL logistics or supply chain
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS highly valued) and MS Office
• Qualifications in logistics, supply chain, or business (preferred)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Have rights to work in Australia
