Warehouse Manager

AMG Brands is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead operations for its 165,000-square-foot warehouse in Edison, NJ, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material handling, and shipping, while ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient service to customers.

Position Summary

This role leads the warehouse team and partners across internal functions to maintain inventory accuracy, ensure timely shipments, optimize space and resources, and deliver against departmental and company performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, material movement, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Manage, coach, and develop warehouse employees, establishing clear responsibilities, performance expectations, and accountability.
• Plan staffing and prioritize workloads to support production needs, customer orders, and shipping schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through disciplined transactions, cycle counts, physical inventories, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Lead the implementation of warehouse scanning technology, including system coordination, employee training, and adoption, to improve inventory accuracy, traceability, and operational efficiency.
• Optimize warehouse layout, storage practices, and workflows to improve space utilization, productivity, and material flow.
• Oversee shipping and receiving documentation and coordinate with carriers to support accurate, timely deliveries.
• Reinforce safe work practices, housekeeping standards, and appropriate use of warehouse equipment.
• Monitor performance measures, including inventory accuracy, shipping accuracy, on-time delivery, productivity, and costs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions to address recurring issues, reduce waste, and improve service.

The Warehouse Manager is proactive, organized, self-motivated, and an effective communicator who sets clear expectations, develops employees, resolves issues, and drives follow-through across the warehouse team and internal business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution, inventory management, or a related function.
• Prior supervisory or management experience, including responsibility for staffing, training, and employee performance.
• Proficiency with ERP, warehouse management, or other inventory systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of inventory control, shipping and receiving, material handling, and warehouse safety practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
