Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure inventory accuracy, optimize storage capacity, and maintain efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and a solid understanding of warehouse safety standards and inventory control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy through regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation procedures.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update stock records, and maintain accurate warehouse data.
• Manage warehouse staff, assign daily tasks, organize work schedules, and monitor team productivity and performance.
• Optimize warehouse layouts, storage systems, and space utilization to improve operational efficiency and workflow.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, labeling, and documentation of goods in accordance with company procedures.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, transportation, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Monitor order fulfillment, shipment preparation, and dispatch activities to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Oversee warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure the proper use of material-handling equipment.
• Implement and enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and warehouse safety procedures.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements to reduce errors, minimize waste, and enhance productivity.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, warehouse performance, stock discrepancies, and operational KPIs.
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, secure, and compliant with company policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, warehouse supervision, or distribution center operations.
• Proven experience in inventory control, stock management, and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatching, and stock reconciliation procedures.
• Excellent team leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to optimize warehouse layouts and maximize storage space utilization.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards, HSE procedures, and proper material-handling practices.
• Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and warehouse reporting tools.
