Party Plus will provide up to $5,000 in relocation assistance for qualified candidates living outside the Maryland area who possess at least three (3) years of direct experience in the tent and special event rental industry. Position Summary

We are seeking a results-driven, hands-on Warehouse Manager / Operations Supervisor with an "ownership mentality" to oversee our daily warehouse and event production operations. This proactive leader will solve problems before they escalate, lead by example, and deliver consistently on commitments.The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, excels at managing multiple competing priorities, and views logistical obstacles as opportunities to innovate. This is a working manager role; you must be willing to roll up your sleeves to help load trucks, oversee tent setups, or make deliveries alongside your crew when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Direct and oversee daily warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, and inventory control to ensure maximum efficiency and order accuracy.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and support warehouse staff and supervisors, promoting accountability, safety, and a transparent work culture.
• Logistics & Scheduling: Coordinate and monitor transportation logistics to optimize delivery routes, schedules, and vehicle utilization.
• Event Execution: Collaborate with internal teams to manage logistics, budgets, and timelines for flawless event setup, on-site support, and post-event removal.
• Hands-on Support: Participate directly in the physical installation of tents and related rental equipment alongside the crew as needed.
• Process Improvement: Work closely with the leadership team to identify operational bottlenecks, maintain inventory accuracy, and implement continuous workflow improvements.
• Facility Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse environment remains clean, highly organized, safe, and fully compliant with company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of verifiable experience in warehouse management, production management, operations management, or party/special event rental management is strictly required.
• Work History: Proven track record of employment longevity, with an average job tenure of 2–3+ years with previous employers.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation principles, shipping/receiving, and inventory control systems.
• Leadership Traits: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; a strategic thinker who takes full responsibility for team outcomes and pivots quickly to learn from mistakes.
• Physical Demands: Ability to repetitively lift up to 70 pounds and perform demanding physical labor in various weather conditions.
• Availability: Flexible scheduling is required. Because most special events occur on weekends, you must be available to ensure success through remote team direction or direct on-site involvement. Weekend availability is especially critical during peak event months (May, June, September, and October).
