Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager picks orders, accepts and processes deliveries, and keeps the warehouse organized. They will have a keen sense of what and where their inventory is and help keep counts accurate. A strong grasp on inventory software is necessary. Great communication skills and a can do attitude a must.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Pick products and prepare them for next phase (including but not limited to: customer pick up, install or outgoing shipment)
Receive and document inventory from deliveries, vendor returns or returns from shop
Inventory of all products entering or exiting the warehouse; know what is in the WH and be able to help others get answers on QOH and location of items

Lead the team responsible for the inventory towards a more streamlined and accurate inventory including initiating a cycle count process; may have 1-3 direct reports to be responsible for

Help with hiring or training other team members as needed
Identify any issues with deliveries or when picking orders; help resolve those issues with correct team members

• Help keep installations running smoothly and on time with prompt part deliveries.

Qualifications:
Prior experience working in a warehouse or inventory management required

Fork truck experience preferred
Ability to work on feet for 8-10 hours and carry loads sometimes 50 pounds or more
Ability to work independently and safely
Possesses strong organizational skills.
Is detail-oriented and capable of noticing small errors on orders or defective aspects of products.
Works well with others.
Exhibits strong communication skills, essential for working with other employees
Demonstrates knowledge of ERP computer systems
Demonstrates familiarity with all warehouse safety precautions and is always able to observe these

Valid Driver’s License preferred; CDL preferred
