Warehouse Manager

Job Overview

AH Hermel is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations at our Minneapolis location. This role is responsible for ordering and receiving products, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, managing inventory rotation, and supporting the Operations Manager with additional tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations: Place warehouse product orders and receive, unload, and properly put away incoming product deliveries.
• Organization and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse daily. Dispose of cardboard and garbage promptly.
• Product Rotation: Monitor product rotation to ensure proper inventory management and minimize spoilage.
• Inventory Management: Conduct a complete warehouse inventory on the last business day of each month.
• Operational Support: Assist the Operations Manager with additional or unexpected tasks, including special deliveries and pickups.
• Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with all Hermel employees to support daily business operations.
• Additional Duties: Report to the Operations Manager upon completion of warehouse responsibilities for further assignments to complete the workday.
• Flexible Scheduling: Be willing to work additional hours as needed to support business demands.

Success in this position will be measured by the ability to:

• Achieve and maintain Mankato location inventory goals.
• Maintain accurate inventory and effective product rotation.
• Minimize warehouse product spoilage, working toward a 0% spoilage rate.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse.
• Demonstrate a strong willingness to assist coworkers and support all Hermel employees.
• Complete assigned responsibilities accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Skills

• Previous warehouse or inventory experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Ability to manage inventory and maintain accurate product rotation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and assist with additional duties as needed.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse.

This is a full-time warehouse position, Monday - Friday. Shift runs from 6am – 2:30pm and may fluctuate day by day. Starting pay is $25.00 per hour.
