Warehouse Manager cum Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Manager cum Coordinator to join Xianfeng International (M) Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the efficient operation and management of our warehousing and distribution facilities. As Warehouse Manager cum Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring optimal inventory management, coordinating logistics activities, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This role is strategic in nature and directly impacts our ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients whilst maintaining operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods
• Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance management and development
• Coordinate inventory management systems and ensure accurate stock records and regular cycle counts
• Monitor warehouse KPIs including productivity, accuracy, safety metrics and cost efficiency
• Implement and maintain warehouse safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Liaise with logistics partners, customers and internal departments to facilitate smooth operations and resolve issues
• Optimise warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Manage warehouse documentation, reports and maintain accurate records of all transactions
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards and legal requirements
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance operational performance

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or similar logistics operations role
• Proven track record of successfully managing warehouse teams and achieving operational targets
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
• Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations within a warehouse environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams
• Problem-solving ability and experience in process improvement and continuous optimisation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational demands
• Knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations is highly desirable
• Certification in warehouse management, logistics or related field would be advantageous
