Warehouse Material Handler

Job Summary

Duties

• Safely load and unload shipments using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment in accordance with OSHA safety protocols.
• Operate RF scanners and manual tools to accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or storage.
• Manage inventory by conducting regular audits, updating records, and ensuring proper storage of packages to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by properly storing materials on pallets or shelves and adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow efficiency and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers; prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to operate pallets jacks and load/unload delivery vehicles safely.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners for accurate order picking and stock control.
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly while maintaining proper safety procedures.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards related to warehouse safety protocols and materials handling practices.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills for teamwork and safety compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on accuracy and safety.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
