Warehouse Material Handler

Duties

• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately using RF scanners and manual processes to meet shipping deadlines.
• Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and updating records with inventory management systems.
• Operate cranes and heavy equipment safely to move large or bulky items within the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace by properly storing materials on pallets, racks, or shelves.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities by inspecting incoming goods and preparing outgoing shipments.

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and shipping & receiving operations.
• Skilled in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery safely.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards.
• Previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for leadership opportunities.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
