Warehouse Material Handler

Job Scope & Responsibility

• Receive and verify incoming materials and shipments.
• Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations following safety and organizational protocols.
• Support material picking, packing, and delivery for outgoing shipments.
• Update inventory records accurately in warehouse management systems.
• Perform regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counts or physical inventories.
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and tracking of all warehouse materials.
• Comply with the safe work environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Collaborate with functional and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

• Previous experience in warehouse or material handling preferred.
• Basic computer skills (e.g. Excel, Word); experience with inventory or warehouse software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
• Knowledge of an electronics manufacturing environment, material and processes.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.
• Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.

Physical Demands:

• Warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment & noise.
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
