Warehouse Nightshift Super/Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse staff/schedules, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management and logistics. In this role you will report directly to the Warehouse Manager

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
• Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials in compliance with company policies.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices in materials handling.
• Utilize AS400 systems for inventory tracking and reporting purposes.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support e-commerce initiatives and logistics functions.
• Manage employee schedules
• Introduce new processes to enhance efficiency and warehouse flow
• Ensure the Warehouse is celan and orders are prepped for day shift
• Ensure compliance with HR and escelate issues on the floor to superiors

Skills

• Proficient in Fishbowl Inventory Management software for inventory management and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and equipment, including forklifts.
• Proven experience in team management, schedule management, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Familiarity with distribution center operations and best practices in logistics.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management.
