Warehouse Officer

About the role

This role involves managing warehouse operations - to strictly enforce safety and regulatory compliance, particularly regarding serialized firearms and ammunition tracking. You will execute tasks like inventory tracking, reconciling, receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping. You, in close coordination with inventory management, will guarantee a 100% match between the physical stock and the data in the inventory management system.  You will also ensure that appropriate storage conditions are maintained to keep inventory at optimum condition.

Key responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments, check for damage, verify quantities against purchase orders, and submit receiving reports
• Conduct cross-checking together with Inventory Control on a monthly basis
• Ensure flawless documentation and record-keeping in compliance with local law enforcement and regulatory body requirements
• Monitor physical movement of inventory from one location to another
• Conduct daily inventory count and reconcile items that moved, whether due to sale or stock transfer
• Oversee receiving, sorting, and stocking of raw materials and finished goods
• Supervise locating, picking, packing, and dispatching of requested items to ensure efficient, damage-free, and error-free deliveries
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to resolve delays, transit discrepancies, or damaged shipments
• Organize physical layout of warehouse facilities to maximize storage capacity and picking efficiency
• Directly supervise, schedule, and delegate daily workloads to warehouse associates and drivers

Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree

Professional Experience:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations;
• Direct experience in industries handling highly regulated, serialized, or high-value goods (e.g., Firearms/Defense, Electronics, Pharmaceuticals, or Luxury Goods) is highly preferred.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
• Familiarity with any Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and barcode/RFID scanning technologies

Industry-Specific Requirements:

• Functional knowledge of firearms, their parts, accessories, and ammunition is a significant advantage.

• An immaculate background record with the ability to pass rigorous security clearances, background checks, and licensing requirements required for handling firearms and defense assets.

• Strong spatial organization skills with a highly detail-oriented, "zero-error" mindset to prevent critical serial number mismatches.
