JOB DESCRIPTION

Warehouse Operations & E-Commerce Assistant

The Warehouse Operations & E-Commerce Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of Big Weather Gear, with a primary focus on receiving, warehouse organization, inventory management, e-commerce fulfillment, and retail replenishment.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory management and point-of-sale software are required. Familiarity with Lightspeed is helpful, but training will be provided.

Essential Job Functions

• Receive and process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Tag, organize, label and put away merchandise.
• Assist with periodic inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
• Learn the basic functions of Lightspeed, with training provided.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and storage area.
• Replenish merchandise on the retail sales floor as needed.
• Pull, verify, and prepare products for online orders.
• Package and organize outgoing shipments accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain and replenish inventory bins in the e-commerce fulfillment area.
• Help coordinate the preparation, organization, and movement of products and supplies for trade shows, boat shows, and other off-site events.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recognize and communicate operational issues.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately and consistently.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, as needed.
• Work is performed in a retail and warehouse environment with regular movement between work areas.

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
