- Supervise all material entering and leaving the warehouse
- Coordinate ETAs and identify any potential delays
- Oversee loading and unloading procedures
- Actively participate in loading and unloading trucks as a regular part of daily operations
- Make material runs for jobsite shortages; local travel for parts and supplies
- Plan warehouse layout and maintain optimal organization
- Manage and conduct weekly and monthly inventory counts, documenting data in systems to ensure accuracy and accountability
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for facility maintenance
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Maintain documentation for regulated and hazardous materials
- Provide support on projects as needed
- Assist with building upkeep (snow removal, minor repairs, cleaning, etc.)
You’re a good fit if you have (or if you can)
- Experience managing, supervising, or organizing a warehouse, with a demonstrated ability to handle both hands-on operations and administrative responsibilities
- Experience with Excel and inventory management software (preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfort using desktop computers and related peripherals
- Ability to work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures
- Physical ability to:
- Lift, push, pull, and carry at least 50 lbs
- Stand at least 6 hours per day
- Climb ladders and stairs; kneel as needed
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain and maintain DOT (Department of Transportation) certification, including meeting all DOT medical certification requirements.
