Warehouse Operations Lead

Sioux City Insulation is looking for a dependable, organized, hands-on Warehouse Operations Lead to take ownership of daily warehouse operations, prepare materials for crews and customers, maintain accurate inventory, and help keep our operation running efficiently.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient warehouse

· Pull, stage, and prepare material orders for customers and service crews

· Receive, unload, inspect, count, and properly store incoming materials

· Load trucks and palletize materials for delivery and field use

· Maintain accurate digital inventory records and perform regular cycle counts

· Identify and communicate inventory shortages, damage, or discrepancies

· Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely

· Assist with local deliveries using company straight trucks

· Coordinate material needs with field crews and operations staff

· Perform other duties reasonably related to warehouse, delivery, facility, and operational support as business needs evolve

What We're Looking For

· Previous forklift operating experience preferred; on-site certification provided if required

· Comfortable using power tools and a willingness to learn new machine operation if needed.

· Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 80 lbs

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, push, and pull

· Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions throughout the year

· Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn company inventory and operational software

· Strong organization and attention to detail; dependable and able to work independently

· Valid driver's license required

· Satisfactory motor vehicle driving-record/background check required

· Drug testing required

· DOT physical/medical card required for applicable driving duties

Driving & Certification

If additional training or certification is required to operate company straight trucks, the company will pay for the necessary training and certification for the selected candidate.

Schedule

The normal schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch. Occasional schedule flexibility, including rare overtime or weekend work, may be required based on project schedules.

Compensation & Benefits

· Total compensation and benefits valued at up to $65,000 annually

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
