Warehouse Operations Manager

Description:

Presto Distribution Center, in Nettleton, MS, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Operations Manager to lead the inventory control and shipping / receiving functions within our distribution center. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient daily operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting safety and quality initiatives, and driving continuous improvement efforts.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. They will partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes, maximize productivity, and support the overall success of the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations for inventory control and receiving.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through effective processes, cycle counting, and discrepancy resolution.
• Lead and develop team members to achieve performance, quality, and safety goals.
• Monitor workflows and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify trends and drive informed decision-making.
• Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with key personnel and external partners to support operational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and operational targets.
• Support quality assurance efforts and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or operations management experience.
• Experience with WMS systems and conveyor shipping software.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software preferred.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
