About the Role

The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing Hankook's warehouse operations through its appointed third-party logistics (3PL) provider.

The role will serve as the key operational interface between Hankook, the 3PL warehouse, Sales, HQ/MEA Supply Chain and logistics partners, ensuring effective inventory management, accurate order fulfilment, timely dispatches and reliable stock visibility.

The position will not directly manage the 3PL warehouse workforce but will be accountable for service delivery, operational performance, inventory accuracy and adherence to agreed processes and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

1. 3PL Warehouse Management

• Act as the primary operational contact between Hankook and the 3PL warehouse provider.
• Monitor warehouse operations and ensure compliance with agreed service levels, processes and Hankook requirements.
• Establish and maintain clear operating procedures between Hankook and the 3PL.
• Monitor warehouse performance, identify operational gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct regular operational reviews with the 3PL and escalate recurring issues to management.
• Coordinate warehouse capacity and operational requirements in line with business volumes.

2. Inventory Management & Control

• Maintain accurate visibility of Hankook inventory held at the 3PL warehouse.
• Monitor stock receipts, transfers, allocations, dispatches, returns, damages and adjustments.
• Ensure system inventory is aligned with physical stock.
• Coordinate regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks with 3PL
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and ensure appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor slow-moving, aging, damaged and obsolete inventory.
• Provide regular inventory reports and analysis to Sales and Management.

3. Sales Order Fulfilment

• Work closely with the Sales team to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Confirm stock availability and coordinate order release with the 3PL.
• Monitor the complete order fulfilment process from order receipt through warehouse dispatch.
• Prioritize urgent or strategically important orders in coordination with Sales Management.
• Proactively highlight stock shortages, order delays or operational constraints.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing and dispatch of products.

4. Logistics & Shipment Coordination

• Coordinate with 3PL and external logistics providers for timely dispatch and delivery.
• Monitor shipment schedules and ensure required documentation is prepared accurately.
• Track dispatches and follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries.
• Coordinate with MEA/HQ Supply Chain teams regarding inbound shipments and stock availability.
• Support the Sales team in resolving customer delivery and logistics-related issues.
• Ensure appropriate documentation and records are maintained for all inventory movements.

5. Systems & Data Management

• Ensure accurate recording of warehouse transactions in Hankook's ERP/SAP systems and relevant 3PL systems.
• Reconcile SAP/system records with 3PL inventory reports.
• Monitor data integrity and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure timely updating of stock movements and order status.
• Develop and maintain regular operational dashboards and reports.

6. Performance & SLA Management

• Establish and monitor key performance indicators for the 3PL.
• Track performance against agreed SLAs, including:
• Inventory accuracy
• Order processing time
• Order accuracy
• On-time dispatch
• Stock discrepancy rate
• Damage/loss rate
• Response and resolution time
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization and improved customer service.

7. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Serve as the operational link between:
• Sales
• MEA/HQ Supply Chain
• Finance
• 3PL warehouse
• Freight forwarders and transport providers
• Customers/distributors
• Provide timely updates on inventory, orders, shipments and operational issues.
• Support Sales Management with accurate information for business planning and customer commitments.

8. Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure the 3PL operates in accordance with Hankook's agreed processes, contractual requirements and applicable local regulations.
• Monitor product handling, storage and warehouse safety standards.
• Ensure appropriate controls are in place for inventory loss, damage and unauthorized stock movements.
• Support internal and external audits relating to inventory and logistics operations.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 5 - 8 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory or supply chain operations.
• Experience managing 3PL/outsourced warehouse operations is essential.
• Experience in a sales/distribution environment is preferred.
• Experience in automotive, tyre, FMCG, industrial or other distribution businesses would be advantageous.
• Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is mandatory

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
