Warehouse Operations Specialist

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operations Specialist based in Kazakhstan. We are seeking an experienced, proactive professional who will strengthen our team.

What You Will Be Working On Customs Clearance Coordination

• Prepare and submit documentation required for customs clearance of shipments.
• Liaise with customs brokers, logistics companies, and government authorities within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
• Monitor shipment release timelines and ensure the timely arrival of goods at the warehouse.
• Archive and maintain documentation related to import shipments.
• Assist in verifying HS codes, serial numbers, and country of origin information for products.

Goods Receiving and Processing

• Organize and oversee the receipt of incoming shipments from international and local suppliers.
• Verify that goods received match the accompanying documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents.
• Check quantities, serial numbers, SKUs, and product completeness.
• Ensure timely recording of goods receipts in the company's internal systems.
• Prepare discrepancy reports for damaged goods, shortages, and other inconsistencies.

Warehouse Inventory and Stock Management

• Ensure the accuracy of warehouse inventory records.
• Monitor the timely placement of goods in designated storage locations.
• Track product movements between warehouses and transit areas.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of physical stock against inventory records.
• Participate in stocktaking activities and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate tracking and accounting of serialized equipment.

Order Fulfillment and Partner Shipments

• Prepare goods for shipment in accordance with partner orders.
• Assemble shipment packages and verify order accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including delivery notes, handover and acceptance certificates, and transport documents.
• Coordinate with transportation companies and courier services.
• Monitor compliance with shipment and delivery deadlines.

IT Equipment Handling

• Maintain accurate records of equipment serial numbers and warranty information.
• Ensure the proper handling and security of high-value technology products.
• Assist with returns, warranty claims, and RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) procedures.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturers' requirements for equipment storage and transportation.

Quality Control and Safety

• Ensure compliance with internal standards for goods storage and handling.
• Monitor storage conditions to maintain product quality and integrity.
• Safeguard company inventory and prevent loss or damage to goods.
• Comply with occupational health and safety regulations, warehouse safety procedures, and fire safety requirements.

Reporting and Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Prepare regular reports on warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with the Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Finance departments.
• Participate in projects aimed at optimizing warehouse processes.
• Provide internal departments with information on stock levels and product movements upon request.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or secondary specialized education.
• 1–3 years of warehouse work experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse inventory management principles and logistics processes.
• Experience with ERP systems such as 1C, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems is an advantage.
• Experience with import shipments and customs procedures is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, a high sense of responsibility, and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
