Warehouse Operations Supervisor

We are looking for a strong Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead and transform our warehouse operations across multiple warehouse locations.

This position requires a hands-on leader who can organize people, space, inventory, and daily operations. The successful candidate must be capable of establishing discipline, creating structure, improving warehouse productivity, and developing a high-performance warehouse team.

We are not looking for someone who only manages stock. We are looking for someone who can take ownership, lead people, solve problems, and drive operational excellence.

Key Leadership Responsibilities

a. Lead and Manage Warehouse Team

• Supervise and lead warehouse personnel on daily operations.
• Set clear expectations, priorities, and accountability for all warehouse staff.
• Develop a culture of ownership, urgency, discipline, and teamwork.
• Coach, train, and develop warehouse employees to improve performance.
• Identify poor work practices and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure staff productivity targets are met consistently.

b. Warehouse Planning & Execution

• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse activities.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and warehouse resources effectively.
• Ensure container unloading, stock receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch activities are properly planned and executed.
• Eliminate firefighting and last-minute operational disruptions.

c. Warehouse Organization & Space Optimization

• Take full ownership of warehouse layout, storage organization, and space utilization.
• Create additional working space through better warehouse planning.
• Ensure all inventory remains accessible and properly organized.
• Eliminate blocked aisles, inaccessible stock, and warehouse congestion.
• Implement warehouse standards and maintain long-term discipline.

d. Inventory & Order Fulfillment Management

• Ensure stock accuracy and inventory readiness at all times.
• Monitor online order fulfillment and customer delivery performance.
• Ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
• Reduce inventory discrepancies and operational errors.

e. Housekeeping & Warehouse Discipline

• Enforce 5S standards and warehouse housekeeping.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Conduct regular warehouse inspections and improvement activities.
• Ensure warehouse standards are maintained daily, not only during audits.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in warehouse operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven track record in leading and managing warehouse teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Experience managing inventory, receiving, storage, fulfillment, and logistics operations.
• Ability to organize teams, prioritize work, and drive execution.
• Hands-on management style with strong problem-solving capability.
• Experience implementing warehouse improvements, 5S, Lean, or continuous improvement initiatives is highly preferred.
• Able to work under pressure and drive operational discipline.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
